WISHING STAR, Contract #407, is one of the two large 84’ hulls built by Trumpy and the only one in the cruiser configuration. The yacht was commissioned by Col. David Flagstaff and was originally named PINTAIL. Later names include ARAS, ACHASTES and finally WISHING STAR in 1984 as named by Mr. Michael Eagan (Alamo Rent-a-Car), she has held this name since. 1997 through 1999 saw an exhaustive $2.2 million complete rebuild returning WISHING STAR to literally new condition in all respects. She has most always had long term owners who have all proven to be a first-rate custodians who were always upgrading and improving her along the way.  Most recently she had an extensive yard period by the experts at Bristol Marine at their Boothbay Harbor, Samples Shipyard location in Maine. Those inspecting her will find her in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, with updated systems and ready to go.
WISHING STAR is totally unique in her design and commanding in her good looks. She has migrated north and south with the seasons for the past 10 or so years becoming particularly well known in the Harbors of Nantucket, Charleston and Palm Beach. Presented in beautiful condition with all annual services up to date, she recently received significant refit work and is well situated for immediate new owner use and enjoyment.
