The Gulf of Aqaba is located at the northern tip of the Red Sea, between Jordan, Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. It has been created naturally, by the movement of the Earth plates. The African plate is pulling down from the Asian plate, forming a rift towards north – from the Dead Sea to Africa’s Great Rift Valley.
